A company ignoring you? File it here — in public.
Panchaayat is a free, public complaint registry for India. File a complaint, the company is notified and expected to reply where everyone can see it, and your case stays on the record until it's actually resolved.

पंच means five. A panchayat is the assembly that hears a dispute in the open.
A village council, rebuilt as software.
Disputes used to be settled in the open square, because a decision made in front of everyone sticks. Panchaayat gives every complaint that same public page, a live status, and a permanent record, instead of a ticket number that disappears into a queue. Companies answer faster, and more fairly, when everyone can see whether they replied — that's the leverage a private email to their support desk doesn't have.
Panchaayat isn't a court, an ombudsman, or a regulator — it can't force a company to act. What it offers is visibility: a public page, an open comment thread, and a permanent record that shows up in search. Companies usually respond to protect their public reputation, their support ratings, and their standing with regulators and customers. For high-value disputes, use it alongside formal channels like the RBI Ombudsman or consumer courts, not instead of them.

India's public registry for consumer complaints
Whether it is a bank refund, an insurance claim, a delayed flight, a telecom bill or an online order that never arrived, Panchaayat gives your complaint a permanent public page. See what others reported about the same company, whether it replied, and how to escalate to the right regulator or Consumer Commission.
Frequently asked questions
What is Panchaayat?
Panchaayat is India's live public registry for consumer complaints. Every complaint gets a permanent public page with its own ID and an open comment thread, so a company's response (or silence) is visible to everyone.
Is it free to file a complaint?
Yes. Filing a complaint, upvoting and commenting are free for consumers. You can log in with Google, LinkedIn or an email code, or file anonymously without an account.
Will the company actually reply?
Companies are notified when a case is filed and can respond publicly on the case page. Each company page shows how many complaints it has, how many were resolved and what customers rated the resolution, so a pattern of silence is visible.
Is my personal information safe?
Phone numbers, email addresses and reference numbers you add are masked on the public page. Only you, the company you complained about and Panchaayat admins can see the values. Read the Privacy & PII masking policy for details.
How is Panchaayat different from a consumer court?
Panchaayat is a public record and a pressure point, not a court. It helps you document a complaint, get the company to respond in the open and find the right escalation route, such as the National Consumer Helpline, a sector regulator or the Consumer Commission, if it is not resolved.
Can a company respond or claim its page?
Yes. Companies can register, verify and manage their page, reply to complaints and track resolution from the Panchaayat company portal.
